...are words that describe Dr. Ketra's personality. She brings over 30 years of community service as an advocate, author, speaker, mentor, coach, and philanthropist who has powerfully impacted the lives of believers through her ministry. â€‹

Dr. Ketra L. Davenport‑King is a respected speaker, educator, advocate, and community leader with a lifelong commitment to service, healing, and leadership development. A native of Dallas, Texas, she holds a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Christian Counseling, a Master of Arts in Christian Education, and a Master of Business Administration from Dallas Baptist University. She earned her Doctorate in Strategic Leadership from Regent University. â€‹

With a heart for restoration, Dr. Ketra founded Life After Advocacy Group, Inc. in 2004 to support survivors of sexual abuse as they heal, reclaim their voices, and live healthy, empowered lives. Her passion for advocacy has extended to community initiatives, including chairing the Walk A Mile in Her Shoes campaign in Dallas County, raising awareness about sexual assault alongside local agencies and city leaders. â€‹

Dr. Ketra is also the founder of Rock Dimensional Consulting, where she equips leaders, organizations, and faith‑based ministries through coaching, leadership development, and transformational seminars. She is the creator of the signature leadership experience, The Leadership ReCourse, designed to reconnect leaders to collaborative, purpose‑driven leadership.

In addition to her consulting and ministry work, Dr. Ketra is a dedicated secondary educator. Her work in education reflects her belief that leadership development begins with preparation, accountability, and vision. As First Lady of Full Gospel Fellowship Church, Dr. Ketra serves as Overseer of the Women’s Ministry and is guided by her life scripture, "Jeremiah 29:11."

With her love for community unity, she partnered with other local leaders to address inequalities in rural communities, leading initiatives focused on civic engagement, community beautification, leadership training, and spiritual development. Her service has included organizing community improvement projects, hosting conferences, serving on nonprofit boards, and advocating for historical recognition within the community. â€‹

Dr. Ketra is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Jack and Jill of America (Associate Member), and the Dallas County Sexual Assault Coalition, reflecting her enduring commitment to public service and leadership. â€‹

​

Driven by her belief that “when you live in a community, there should be a handprint of your work left behind for future generations,” Dr. Ketra continues to inspire audiences to lead with purpose, courage, and compassion.
